More Details Coming Soon

Welcome Keith A. Golden

Keith A. Golden is a pioneer in African American Fine Art Publishing. An educator, investor, and purveyor of African American Art with over 30 years of experience. Keith is a graduate of Memphis State University (now University of Memphis) with a Bachelor’s in criminal justice, a minor in English in 1989, and the Cecil C. Humphrey’s School of Law in 1992. When challenged with financing his education, he identified fellow creative track team members to monetize their talents, thereby creating income streams to benefit students, clients, and himself by selling their artwork. Before graduating from law school, Keith began his legal career working for Brannon, Murrell & Associates in Memphis, Tennessee. Shortly after graduation, he started a family and moved to Denver, Colorado, establishing the Art by Golden/Golden Galleries brand.

Keith’s business acumen and legal expertise forged his career as a fine art contract developer, reviewer, and negotiator. He saw firsthand the disrespect, discrimination, and devaluation of African American artists’ work. His love for art, legal education, and compassionate spirit has secured him as the artists’ advocate. Widely sought after to consult artists on intellectual property issues as well as legacy preservation, many artists, collectors, and institutions seek his counsel.

In the case of the Little Rock Nine’s 50th Year Commemorative, he was challenged to preserve their legacy and inspire action to continue the fight for restorative justice. He commissioned well-known artist Charley Palmer to create a work of art titled “Little Rock Nine-50 Years”, the movement's centerpiece.

An avid golfer and a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Keith enjoys spending time with family and friends and mentoring young black males. The National Association of Health Services Executives has awarded him for providing opportunities for African American Artists and for his effort to help the African American art community continue to thrive.

Keith currently resides in Denver, Colorado, and has a satellite office in his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee.
